Well I don’t think I’ve evern taken this long to get a sneak peek up – but this week I was moving!  Not far, but moving with two kids (one of them teething) has been challenging to say the least.  So I’m here, finally, and SO happy to  get this sneak peek up for this awesome family.

Kristin came across my work because her sweet girl and my sweet girl used to go to the same school.  They weren’t in the same class, and it was over a year ago, but my goodness I recognized her sweet face the moment I saw her.  Both her and her brother have SUCH wonderful personalities and were really a pleasure to photograph.  I hope to see you guys again next year!  Enjoy your sneak peek. :)

Miss Alexis and her mama joined me for a Mini Session a few days ago.  The sky was gloomy, but Alexis was not!  What a perfect little model she was, inventing all of her own poses and just a darling girl smiling at the camera.  I could have taken her picture ALL. DAY.  We even managed to get a bit of sun… for about 30 seconds. :)

Thanks for hanging with me, Alexis!  You sure are a sweetheart.  Enjoy.

Here’s my Molly!  She’s a whopping 16lbs at 11 weeks old and she is just full of joy.  Her daddy, her big sis, and myself just can’t get enough of her sweet face.  Had a free morning today so I decided to snap a few photos of her modeling a few things her Grandma Rose made for her.

P.s. I’m thinking about selling Molly snuggles…  five bucks a squeeze! ;)

Baby Jeggings.  The only thing sweeter than this is kittens in a bucket of syrup.

I met up with Kris and Mac and their two darling children last night.  They are in California on vacation and wanted to capture some photos of their adorable family hanging at he beach.  This was my first session back to work after my c-section and I was a little nervous.  Luckily their children were AMAZINGLY well behaved and I didn’t have to run around chasing them down like I do my own child.

Michael was a sweet boy, and just so joyful.  This was his first time at the beach and he just couldn’t stop playing with the sand.  I love that something as simple as sand can be so mesmerizing to a child.  Madeline was basically a photographer’s dream.  She loved to pose, but at the same time she was so *real*.  You can tell she’ll grow up to be a very genuine and passionate person, you can see it in her eyes.  Kris and Mac were super fun and so happy. It’s too bad they live half way across the country or I might make them be my friends. ;)

Thank you so much Kris and family for choosing me to photograph your beach trip!  I truly had a blast, you made my transition back into the working world so pleasant.  Enjoy your sneak peek…

This is my last official week of Maternity Leave and I’m itching to get back to work! I’m starting to line up a ton of sessions for September.  Last year September was my busiest month, and it’s looking like it going to be again this year.  If you’re thinking of booking a Holiday Session this year, do it SOON before all the good slots fill up!  I have a gorgeous location that looks AMAZING in September and October. Also – If you have a friend who’s looking for a photographer, be sure to ask me about my referral program.  Well, I guess it’s less of a “program” and more of a “make your friend book a session so you can get money and free things”. ;)  Speaking of free things…

I haven’t had a chance to proof all of their sneak peek images quite yet. But I couldn’t go another second without sharing these two. There is something about mother/daughter sessions that make my heart so very happy. :)

My favorite baby boyfriend! This is my 5th session with Jake. I’ve photographed hit at Birth, Newborn, 3 Months, 6 Months and now 9 months. And if it’s even possible, he just continues to get cuter and happier. I seriously have maybe one photo of him *not* smiling, and it was when he bumped his head! Jakey is definitely the exception to the rule… he’s made of sugar and spice and everything nice. Look! I have proof!

Last night I headed out to my favorite location with two very sweet and adorable people.  Well, *three* actually.  Liz and Josh are expecting their baby girl in just a few months.  :)  The weather was great considering all the rain we’ve had… it was well over 80 degrees out, and the lighting was just perfect.  Also, I learned two things this session… 1. When one pregnant lady (*cough*, Liz) mentions she’s craving a Slurpee, the other pregnant lady (me) also begins craving a Slurpee.  2.  There are no 7-11′s in my neighborhood.
