August 23, 2011I met up with Kris and Mac and their two darling children last night. They are in California on vacation and wanted to capture some photos of their adorable family hanging at he beach. This was my first session back to work after my c-section and I was a little nervous. Luckily their children were AMAZINGLY well behaved and I didn’t have to run around chasing them down like I do my own child.
Michael was a sweet boy, and just so joyful. This was his first time at the beach and he just couldn’t stop playing with the sand. I love that something as simple as sand can be so mesmerizing to a child. Madeline was basically a photographer’s dream. She loved to pose, but at the same time she was so *real*. You can tell she’ll grow up to be a very genuine and passionate person, you can see it in her eyes. Kris and Mac were super fun and so happy. It’s too bad they live half way across the country or I might make them be my friends. ;)
