September 20, 2010This week I had the pleasure of photographing gorgeous wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses, and flower girl dresses for Jenna of Beane & Co . I had a serious BLAST. What a fun group of people (including my daughter Claire who modeled a few dresses)! The dresses are just so pretty I was so excited when Jenna contacted me about this shoot. She is incredibly talented and I would visit her etsy store as well for some adorable finds.
OH, here was the story of the night (and the reason I will not be out shooting past sunset again!)… We stayed out late trying to squeeze in the last few bridesmaid dresses and just as we were about the leave Jenna spotted a coyote. A few of us were all “oh cool!” and a few of us (me) were like “oh em gee, let’s GO.” so we began to walk a little faster down the trail back to our cars. About half way there firetruck sirens from a nearby road began to blare. It was then that we realized there was more than one coyote as they all began HOWLING. Suddenly, heels, gowns, props, camera equipment and all, we became very fast walkers, haha!
Anyhow, since I made it out alive, I thought I’d share a few of *my* faves from the shoot. Enjoy!
