ahhhh i LOVE seniors!!! especially this one. elise was so beautiful, laughed at all my jokes, her mom had a glass of wine with me, the weather was a happy 75 degrees, and well, this evening could not have been any better. and, (best part) we’re doing part two tomorrow at a second location!
here’s your sneak peek, elise. enjoy!!!
(disclaimer – editing on my crummy laptop tonight, fancy computer is in the shop till saturday – grr!)

(got the cool mini block chalk board here… we had a lot of fun with it!)

if i could sum up, in one image why i love being a photographer. it would be this:

because nothing says “i’m ready for jesus” like being pummeled in the face with a sign while staring at superman.

anyway, i like to call this “please spread the good news on a side street, there is already enough traffic on hollywood and highland.”
sometimes you have to stop and remember
the reason you’re here.
all the reasons
you stay here.
sometimes its the feeling of the sun touching your skin.
the breeze blowing through
your hair.
sometimes
watching your child sleep makes every breath you ever took
completely worthwhile.
no matter how hard some were.
because all those breaths
led to this moment.
sometimes everything just makes
sense.

i had a session this evening with a very talented up and coming music artist for her next album “Urban Goddess”. we had such a blast! especially getting the shots in the middle of the street on the bridge… every few minutes “car!”, it reminded me of when i was 10 years old, playing tag football in the street, clearing out for cars, and then running back as fast as you could, giggling… we are fun.
thanks jeanine! you are such a goddess. here’s your sneak peak…

A very very special thanks to Vessy Mink for permission to use her BEAUTIFUL song “Something Special” on my website.
You’re amazing lady, and a wonderful musician and I’m seriously feel blessed to have set foot on the same stage as you.
Go, right now, and buy her first album Vessy Mink & the Lovesick Lunatics, ‘Black Car’, on itunes.
